The premise behind Marlowe is that people should still be the creators, and the purpose of A.I. is to help you do what you do best.
Marlowe's strength is in refining an overwhelming amount of your personal information and surfacing what needs your attention today, and what can wait until tomorrow. The value is helping you shoulder the mental load of trying to remember everything so you can spend more time creating. Marlowe's stance of only helping means, less access to your data. Marlowe only can read an email once, and has no other access to your account.
What Marlowe does is review emails, meeting minutes, documents, and everything else you tell Marlowe, in order to give you concise notes about what is important right now. What is really amazing is how, over time, Marlowe learns about you and the people in your orbit so these notes aren't just a summary of an email, they are contextual notes from an assistant that knows you. Note: The 19 York Street historic permit application has sat in 'Awaiting Review' since May 21 despite fees paid in full, and the 45 day statutory review window passed on July 5th with no action taken. You have followed up directly with Michael Grant and are waiting on a response. My read is a paid and complete file gone silent past its own review deadline usually needs a phone call rather than another email, and it is worth checking whether the borough's historic preservation ordinance carries a default approval provision for failure to act in time, since that would give you real leverage on the call.

Your Privacy

Marlowe Server Data

  1. The information that is stored on the server is basic profile information and your current items in the Marlowe window. This is stored on the server for future mobile application integration.  This information is viewable on your computer in the Marlowe support folder in the file called "tasks.json" and you can manually delete the server data by going to the Marlowe menu "Manage Data".
  1. When you finish a trial period with Marlowe, your data on the server is automatically deleted 30 days after the end of the trial

Email

  1. Marlowe does not get full access to your email. Marlowe reviews incoming email to surface action items or other important context and then deletes the email. Marlowe does not store your complete email and can not go back and search through your emails so your email account is safe

Private Database

  1. Marlowe has a long term database that remembers what you said yesterday and last year. This is a vector database stored locally on your computer. You can delete this at any time.  The file is located in the Application Support folder and is called marlowe.vec.db
